Summer-Time Knitting. Why?
Summertime knitting and crochet sounds like an oxymoron. But new yarns that are cool choices plus the imperative of summer stitching can keep you happily occupied through the dog days.
The sun is out. That means longer, brighter daylight. Believe me, seeing your stitches and the yarn colors in true sunlight is joy.
Getting garden chores done is rewarding, but ‘ouch’, my back. Settle down after a hard day in the dirt, with a cool glass of something and some non-back breaking stitching.
Kids are doing all kinds of sports. You are required to watch. Remember, knitting in the bleachers is not prohibited.
The beach and the ocean are a sheer palate of color. Stitch something in summer colors that will remind you of vacation all year long.
