Make your mark...in yarn!

Be a part of a yarn happening at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield! On June 8th from 2-5 the Aldrich is hosting a yarn graffiti event where everyone who can knit at any level is invited to drag out their looms, needles, and crochet hooks and transform the Museum's garden into a little piece of knitted heaven. Have an old sweater that's ready for the garbage? An afghan that the moths got to? Some socks that you just can't darn one more time? Cut it into squares to be knit together with something else!

This event coincides with Worldwide Knit in Public Day. Send us a picture of you knitting in public and receive a 10% coupon toward a future purchase of yarn and be entered in the contest for "most unusual place". You could win a basket of yarnie goodness!

We are knitters, hear us click!
